Housing Opportunity Grants

The 2017 funding cycle ended October 15. Please check back in mid-December for the 2018 application.

Learn About

Housing Opportunity grants support state and local REALTOR® associations’ affordable housing activities. The goal of the program is to position REALTORS® as leaders in improving their communities by creating affordable housing opportunities.

Funding Levels

There are three levels of funding available to support activities.

 Level One

 Level Two

 Level Three

  • Purpose: To support new projects or to enhance previously initiated efforts that have growth potential. The activity must include working with at least one non-REALTOR® primary partner organization (e.g. housing nonprofit, government agency, local employer, etc.). Activities should be comprehensive, have a broad community reach, and significant REALTOR® involvement. Such activities tend to qualify for higher levels of funding than one-time events (e.g. a symposium) or efforts with limited REALTOR® involvement (e.g. studies/analyses).
