Georgia - Sheet Metal Theft The bill dealing with metal theft had fierce opposition from the metal recycling industry and members of the General Assembly. Within 48 hours of launching, this campaign generated over 1,100 emails. The final vote total in the House was 141-20 and almost 20 House members rose to speak against the bill. "This campaign was significant because almost 20 House members rose to speak against the bill. We feel this campaign helped shore up House members on the fence by letting their constituents tell the story of how metal theft is affecting their businesses and communities. We are confident this quick and strong response from Realtors made a difference in the vote." - John Barbour

Nevada - Pools POS This bill would have imposed POS requirements to add a secondary pool barrier or motion-sensing alarms. The campaign was a great success, with a 14.2% participation rate, higher than the state's average federal CFA response rate.
