REALTOR Party Action Center Advanced Training: Advocacy and Step 10 - Jan 15 Webex Online Training
To be truly effective as an advocacy organization at all
levels, the advocacy campaigns we produce at the local, state and national
levels must have a consistent style that is familiar to our members. The style
should be so consistent, in fact, that it is practically effortless for members
to take action on the important issues in our industry. To achieve that goal,
we must all follow the same guidelines and best practices when building our
campaigns. This session is targeted at anyone using Convio for advocacy calls
for action, from AEs to communications staff to government affairs staff. We
will specifically look at the all-important “Step 10” in campaign creation; the
place where campaigns take-action pages are created and formatted. We will also
look at how campaign participation is tracked, and how you can send an email to
only those members who have *not* already taken action on a campaign in your
center or the national center. This 60 minute session will cover:
Advocacy campaign best practices
Creating effective take-action pages that are
consistent in style
Creating content for additional campaign pages
like the thank you and tell-a-friend page
Review of advocacy participation groups and
using them to target effective follow-up emails
