To become a REALTOR® member of the Kent County Association of
REALTORS®, you must attend Orientation. It is a mandatory requirement of
REALTOR® membership
to attend Orientation According to NAR, “effective January 1, 2001
applicants for REALTOR® membership shall complete an orientation program
on the Code of Ethics…
any orientation program must meet the learning objectives and minimum
criteria established by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.”
Orientation to be held at the KCAR office, Monday April 8th from 9 am - 3 pm.
Lunch will be provided.
Any member that missed last year and was granted approval from Board, must take this course on April 8th.
Returning members need only take the half day portion and not the ethic's part.
Secondary members are not mandatory to attend, as they have already taken orientation from primary membership association, however if they would like KCAR new member orientation information they are welcome to attend.
New members that attend orientation April 8th, will be pinned by their Office/Broker during our annual Oyster Dinner, Thursday April 18th.
