The South Dakota Association of REALTORS® in Conjunction with
AMERICAN BANK & TRUST
PRESENTS...
Join us with Terry Watson the “AHA guy”, who makes people, companies and organizations large and small aware of the conscious and unconscious ways they sabotage their businesses and their lives.
Details:
Morning Session: Easify 101, 9am-12:00PM
Real estate today is mostly done
on assumptions. Agents assume that the public understands what is happening or
worse yet, what is going to happen. Most problems the public experience in a
real estate transaction are absolutely preventable and many are completely
unnecessary. The public deserves better and this course will give the
participant the resources, tools and ability to do help the public avoid risk
from a number of common scenarios.
After
completion of this course, participants will be able to list and identify:
- The fiduciary duties required and expected by the public
- Best practices to help the public avoid risk
- Topics that should be discussed so the public is not caught of guard and
can effectively plan and make informed decisions
- List and explain the safety issues that can arise in a real estate
transaction
- Real Estate Commission Website Resources that should be used and
resources for the public
Afternoon Session: Top 10 Technology Mistakes, 1:30pm-4:30pm
The
purpose of this course is to examine technology that the public demands, and
the technology mistakes that agents make which alienate consumers. When it
comes to consumers, well intentioned, hard working REALTORS®
consistently make the same mistakes again and again. This course presents the
steps an agent must take to meet and exceed the unique technological
expectations and needs of today’s “need it now” consumers. It helps
REALTORS® improve the quality of their work and the lives of their
consumers.
After completion
of this course, participants will be able to list and identify:
- The differences between technology an agent wants vs. technology the public demands
- What the public demands from a Web site
- Why 99% of
Web sites are completely useless to the public
- Web sites
that meet the unique needs of the public
Registration for both classes is done by purchasing a ticket below. Registration fee includes morning coffee and water and afternoon break items and beverages, all course supplies, CE approval/submission, and administrative fees.
