TRID-TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures Class
Effective October 4, 2015 (delayed from August 1st) the mortgage industry
will undergo a sweeping change that affects everyone involved in financing
residential real estate. The Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB)
was tasked with creating more “consumer friendly” mortgage disclosures by
combing what we know today as the Good Faith Estimate, Truth in Lending, & HUD-1
settlement statement, into the Loan Estimate & Closing Disclosure. Aside
from these new disclosures, there are strict rules and timelines that must be
met and that could affect your transactions. This class offers insight
into the new TILA RESPA Integration Disclosure rule also known as TRID. You
will gain insider information on how to protect your deals and know what to
look out for come October 4, 2015.
